Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights

When you communicate personal data that allow your identification through the website https://centenariodelibes.es, or from any other website operated or following the instructions of Fundación Miguel Delibes (the “Web”), we protect it as established in this policy. Personal data, such as your name, email address or IP address, allow us to identify you. If you are a Miguel Delibes Foundation customer, there are additional privacy policies that will be notified to you separately.

The information we collect

Fundación Miguel Delibes collects personal data that allows the identification of Web users. The information is collected in two different ways, through the visitor’s registration and through the use of cookies or similar tracking technologies.

On the Web you can use a contact form if you have any questions to ask Miguel Delibes Foundation.
When you decide to use our contact form, we ask you to provide us with personal information, such as your name and email address (Sometimes you may be asked for additional information to improve your browsing experience). The information provided will be used to send you the information you request.

After submitting the form, you can choose to receive information in the future about the services or events of Fundación Miguel Delibes. In case you opt for this, we will store the personal data you have provided us for this purpose. Each time we contact you we will give you the opportunity to stop receiving this information. When we send you future information, you can unsubscribe by following the “unsubscribe” instructions indicated in our emails.

Cookies / tracking technologies
When you visit our Websites, we can send a “cookie” to your computer. Cookies are files that store information on your hard drive or browser. These allow our websites to identify your computer, and detect that you have visited our Webs previously. Cookies, in themselves, do not contain any personal data. However, we can relate the information we store in cookies with any personal data you send us when you access our Websites.

Cookies help us to know which sections of our web pages are the most popular, since they show the pages that are visited and for how long. This helps Interxion adapt our websites to provide more relevant and accessible information. For example, cookies allow us to ensure that the information shown on your next visit to our Websites corresponds to your preferences.

You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, refuse all cookies or to be notified when a cookie is sent. However, keep in mind that disabling cookies may affect your internet experience and / or prevent you from fully enjoying our Web pages.

Sometimes we can also use other technologies to record and collect data in order to analyze the traffic of our Web pages. These technologies usually only allow you to generate an anonymous notice of your visit. However, in some cases, they may allow us to obtain details about your IP address and track visits to our Websites. This, together with cookies, allows us to identify which parts of our Websites are of interest to our visitors and to help us provide information tailored to our Web pages.

Google Analytics

The website uses the Google Analytics service, a web analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to remember what a user has done on previous pages and interactions with the Web page.

Google will collect this information on behalf of the Miguel Delibes Foundation. Fundación Miguel Delibes will use this information to evaluate its use of the Web, fill in reports on the activity of the website and provide other services related to the activity of the Web and the use of the internet.

The IP address that your computer issues within the scope of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other information held by Google.

To provide visitors with more options on how Google Analytics collects their data, Google has developed “Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on”. The add-on communicates with Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js) to indicate what information about the visit to the website should not be sent to Google Analytics.

If you wish to unsubscribe, download and install the “add-on” for your current web browser. “Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on” is available for Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Opera. You can find a link to the browser Opt-out Add-on here.

Information divulgation

The personal data that Miguel Delibes Foundation collects, as indicated in “Information we collect”, is shared only within the Miguel Delibes Foundation group. Fundación Miguel Delibes will not disclose this information to third parties, except in the case required by law (at the request of a Public or Regulatory Authority, or court order).

Security

Miguel Delibes Foundation has security measures to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of any personal data that is under the control of Fundación Miguel Delibes. All personal data is stored in a secure database.

The characteristics of the Webs are constantly updated to provide a better service to all our customers, so this policy can also be updated. Fundación Miguel Delibes can modify this policy without prior notice, and the modifications will be effective once they are published here. By using the Web, you declare to understand and accept the privacy policy in force at the time of its use.
